Using GPIB-USB HS with Labview 3.1

Hi,
Thanks for the help.  I know how to find out the address know.
But when I tried to do the mass compile from 2.x to 3.x then from 3.x to 4.x, I always have errors during the process from 2.x to 3.x

In one computer, the labview just crashes during the mass compile.
In another computer, the labview crashes right after I click mass compile.

Hi,

You actually aren't supposed to mass compile your VI's from 2.x to 3.x you need to upgrade them.

Hi,

It says For instance, to open VIs saved in LabVIEW 2.x, you must first mass compile them in LabVIEW 3.1.1 and then mass compile them in LabVIEW 4.0.1. After saving VIs in LabVIEW 4.0.1, you can open them in later versions of LabVIEW.

When I tried to do mass compile from Labview 2.x to Labview 3.1.1, the program just crashed.

When you say that you tried to do a mass compile, what steps did you perform to do this? Basically you should just need to open and save the 2.x VI in LabVIEW 3.1.1. When this VI opens it will automatically load all of its sub VIs into memory. When you press control + shift + click run, all VIs in memory will be compiled in LabVIEW 3.1.1. The VI and its dependencies should now be saved in LabVIEW 3.1.1.

If this is the process that you are performing, then would it be possible for you to further describe the behavior that you see when the application crashes? Would you be able to post a screenshot of the error that you receive when LabVIEW closes? I might also ask you to try creating a new VI to see if you experience the same result when upgrading this VI to version 3.1.1. This would tell us if there is a problem with this process on your machine or if the problem is related to the application you are trying to upgrade. I hope this is useful for you! Please post back if we can provide additional assistance. Thanks!
