Using the DAQ Assistant for devices from a different manufacturer

I have a USB-AI12-16E from Access I/O products, and am wondering if I can use the DAQ assistant, or DAQmx with this board.  All I am doing is receiving a 4-20 mA signal, converting it to engineering units, plotting, and saving the results.  There are some separate drivers that can be downloaded, but I am less familiar with them that the DAQ assistant and DAQmx.

No, you cannot use the DAQ Assistant or DAQmx with other vendors hardware.
