VISA server does not start after computer reboot

Hi all,

I have a trouble, which is replicated on all the computers working with Labview in my company. Not just with Labview development environment, but also on computers running the compiled executives with runtime engine.

The problem looks like VI just does not see COM ports, while computer's device manager sees them, and ports are accessible with terminal program.

Also, the VISA does not shown in NI-MAX at that time.

Repairing the VISA driver in Package Manager solves the problem - till next reboot...

Is this problem known to society? May be somebody can suggest workaround?

Thanks

Look for these two services:

Make sure they are started.  Some antivirus programs will prevent these from starting.  There have been varying degrees of success setting them to autostart delayed.

If they are not started, it messes NI-MAX up.
