Want to download LabVIEW in my Old laptop windows 8.

Hi NI LabVIEW user,

I have been a keen observer as a beginner in Ni LabVIEW. 

I would like to know how to install NI LabVIEW in my old laptop windows 8 64 bit and to learn something for free and implement or refer examples in LabVIEW.

That could be going to be a little tough depending what Windows 8 installation you have. LabVIEW officially stopped supporting Windows 8.1 Update 1 after version 2020 SP1. LabVIEW 2020 was also the first version available as Community Edition. So you would likely have to download and install LabVIEW 2020 SP1 Community Edition but I'm not sure if download of older versions than the most recent one (2024 Q1 at this moment) is possible for people who do not have an active subscription license.

It may be possible to install a later version of LabVIEW, but only if your Windows 8 installation is a 64-bit system. NI stopped supporting installation onto any 32-bit OS version with all 2021 versions of their software.

Investigate the LabVIEW Community Edition.  A Web search will yield multiple hits that explain "who" and "how".  You may, however, need to upgrade to Windows 10 ...
