Thank you. I have been trying to solve this for weeks. Slightly different on my end, but similar concept. Hopefully NI will come up with an easier solution in the future.

What you can do is right click the property node and then select "Disconnect From Control". This will make it so the property node is no longer linked to a specific chart, but will require you to wire in a control reference. Now you can put the property node into a SubVI, give the input parameters some meaningful names to you, and add it to your re-use library so you don't have to think about it again.
