Writing to the Digital module Adam 4050

Hi

I am reading from the input module-4017 and then after particular operation trying to write to the digital module 4050 so that i can operate my relay connected to the output module.My VI is working fine and is able to switch ON and OFF the relay when it is highlighted but when it is not in the highlight mode it is not able to switch ON the relay although the VI is executing and showing the desired result.I am using LabView 6.0.
can anybody has faced similar problem.

Gaurav,

When your program works in highlight execution mode but not in normal operation, it is usually an indication that the timing is too fast in your program. Try adding a wait to your loop to slow down your VI a little and see if that helps. Aside from that, I would need to know more about your code to see what is going on.
