Xantrex Power Supply

Hi,

I am having a problem with a Xantrex power supply on one fo my 3 test stations.

I have done the following and it worked fine on all but one PC

• Installed Xantrex driver
• Installed IVI compliance package (3.3)
• Checked GPIB communication to the power supply- it is ok, I can read power supply ID

When I try to run my VI (exe that runs fine on all other PCs) I get the following error

"TQLP Initialize.vi<ERR> Driver Status:  (Hex 0xBFFF003E) Could not perform operation because of I/O error."

Any one any ideas?

If it runs fine on all other PC's but not this one, my guess is that you don't have all the necessary drivers installed.  I don't have your VI's to know precisely what could be missing, but it is probably the VISA drivers.  Try installing the VISA drivers on the PC with the problem.
