application builder for labview 8.6

Hello all

I just installed the Application Builder in LabVIEW 8.6. The problem is when I open labview I can't find the 'build application (EXE) from vi ...' On the Tools menu. Is there an alternative to it, i want to build my application.

by the way, is there a way to build an installable application from labview ?

With LabVIEW 8.6, you need to build your VI's into a project.  From there, you create a new Build specification to create the .exe.

Here is the help file from LV 2010, but the concepts should be the same.
