bluetooth client and server examples on same machine

I have installed a Zoom 4314 bluetooth to USB dongle on my XP machine.

I am trying to run the simple client and server from the LABVIEW examples on the same machine.  I start the Server, it finds the bluetooth address.  Then I start the client, I copy in the address and channel but I get an Error 59 "the network is down, unreachable, or has been reset."

When I try to advanced bluetooth example the advanced client finds all the bluetooth examples in the near vicinity but not the bluetooth adress of its own machine.

Is it not possible to run a bluetooth server and a bluetooth client on the same machine?

Hi David,

Nope.  You will need either a second bluetooth dongle or another bluetooth enabled computer.  It mentions it in this KnowledgeBase.  There are some links at the bottom of the KnowledgeBase incase you want to look into things further.
