border colours. how to change?

i have searched but cant find a simple answer. im sure its straight forward, but i cant see how!

Those are actually decorations. They're just frames and you color them using the paintbrush. The decorations are in the "Decorations" section of your Controls palette.

ye sorry, i know there decorations. how does one go about using the paint brush on them?

I'm sorry if this is so blunt, but this is in the User Manual. I've noticed you've been asking a number of questions that are in that book. Place the decoration on the front panel. Select the paintbrush tool from the Tools palette. Move the paintbrush to the border's edge. Right-click. Select color.

please accept my appologies. i dont have a manual. im using this on a uni liscense. believe me, i have scoured the internet for a fix for theses probelms but never found anything. i appreciatte the help.

There should be manual under your labview install. Look in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\manuals.

Or you could go the labview Help menu then select Seach the Labview Bookshelf...

Again, I apologize for being blunt. It's not an issue of not wanting to help, but there's often people on here who basically ask questions that are answered in the manual, and it makes me wonder sometimes whether they even bothered to look it up.
