Hi,
I have built an installer file using Labview 2010 64 bit. When trying to install on XP 32 bit I get an error saying the installer is only contains 64 bit installation files.
Is there a way to create 32 bit installer packages using Labview 64 bit?
Cheers,
Tom

Hello Tom,
Unfortunatelly you can't build 32-bit installer on 64-bit LabVIEW.
However, if you can download and install 32-bit LabVIEW on the same computer. You can download it from our site PRODUCTS with same serial number as you already have from 64-bit version.

Hi,
in order to build a 32-bit installer you need to have 32-bit LabVIEW installed.

Is this still true for LabVIEW 2013? and If you have LabVIEW 32 bit, will an installer you build work on a 64 bit machine?

It will be true forever, as this is a Windows architecture thing. You can install a LV 32-bit installation package just the same way you can install just about any 32-bit application on an x64 Windows machine.
