Hello,
I am having a problem while run the program using the NI ELVIS DIGITAL FPGA BOARD.When i connect the board to PC through USB cable then it shows a led which shows it is connected. but when the create a new project and open New target and device then there i get the NI ELVIS and when i open then there is a DE FPGA option.I select that option and do the further things but when i run that program then it shows a complitaion successfully and after this when i run that it shows an error having code 310601.
I am attaching the pic of that error code .

Hi,
I think I saw another forum post from you regarding this issue. I suggest you keep the discussion there, as posting it here will be confusing. This post was for a cRIO 9022.
Thanks

Can you please help me out of this problem?????

Hi,
I discussed this case with my colleage Ajay, who you are in touch with on phone for this issue. As he mentioned, things are working fine with another computer and a different ELVIS board. I think there is a problem with the communication link in this particular setup. Please follow the steps recommended by Ajay and let him know what the results are.
Thanks

Hi Suraj
Things are not fine with another computer or different FPGA ELVIS board. We have two cRIO 9022 and two FPGA ELVIS board and as we are working in a lab so we are having more than 20 computers having LABview installed in each one of them and might be the version of LABview is not same in all the computer but we have the latest version also and the older one also and different types of OS is also there like window 7, window 8 and we have tried with all the PC to connect both the cRIO and FPGA ELVIS board and the result are same for all the attempt. It has been over more than 2 months that we are stuck with this issue and getting no help from NI people.

Hi Bodhisattya,
Sorry to hear about the inconvenience. Let me get things on fast track from my side. To begin with, can you tell me if you have any other hardware (I remember COEP Instrumentation department has a lot of cRIOs, Elvis boards) apart from these ? Try to use a normal prototyping board with the ELVIS and make some simple program. If this works, at least we know that the communication between ELVIS and computer is working. If this is the case, we can call in your FPGA board and cRIO in for an RMA to check it in our office.
With the cRIO too, try to see if any other cRIOs apart from these are working on the same PCs. If they are, then we could call these in for RMA.

Hi Suraj
Thanks for your reply. We have used NI DAQ with the same PC and it is working fine and also ELVIS board. Actually we frequently used normal ELVIS prototyping board for variable power supply and it was working fine with no issue at all and same with the NI DAQ also.
Thanks

Hi,
Ok, so this concludes that the PC software is fine, ELVIS base board is also fina and communicating well. This leads doubt to the communication paths with the FPGA board. You mentioned that you have multiple ELVIS base boards and FPGA boards. All of these FPGA boards are throwing this error ?
Also, were you able to check with another cRIO apart from the ones which are throwing an error ?
Thanks
