Hi,

i want to use the FPGA I/O variable and i am not conected to the cRio right now can any one help me .

to make the variable Capture.PNG

add (simulated) modules to your cRio in the project...

could you please explaine more. my project is empty i Don't have a cRio in my Project . i am going to build new Project .

You can add a disconnected (or non-existent) cRIO to a project by right clicking on the project in Project Explorer and choosing New > Targets and Devices...

Then, instead of using the "Existing target or device" option, choose "New target or device".

 

You can then choose the cRIO you want - you'll have to look through the options to find what you need:

Once you've added a target, you can use a similar process to add modules, either with or without an FPGA target.

If you need the FPGA target, add that first. Click to "Deploy Later" (i.e., perhaps never).

 

Then, right click on the appropriate parent (Real-Time Scan Resources, Real-Time Resources on newer cRIOs, or FPGA) and choose New > C Series Modules.

You can add whatever you need (again via the "New" rather than "Existing" choice).
