So did you try my suggestion of testing with a local variable?

I recommend that you try it. Post back with the results. Include your LabVIEW code with the post.

If you want to learn how to do this you've got to give it a go yourself, not just ask people to supply all the code for you..... get stuck in!

Deeeep breaths, counting to 10....

Are you actually trying here?  Read the help files, look up examples - you've got to put a bit of effort in.

Do not try to link a local variable to your model.

I have already told you how to create a local variable and I have suggested that you post what you have tried.

As my final attempt to help, pasted below are two options that I suggest you try, one uses a tank control, one uses a tank indicator. I will not post the code for this as I suspect that this is some kind of school project and you should at least be able to create the code for yourself. If you cannot create the code, work through the online tutorials for getting started.

The only difference between the images below and the code already posted, is the use of the local variable.
