connecting LabVIEW to hardware sensors through myRIO

gentlemen,

I am wondering why you are concentrating on the negatives!! two to three men discussing the "TOO MUCH" phrase , other talking about my writing !!!

is this forum for punishing the participants?!!! would it be better if you add more values to this discussion.

Punishing???

You want to know punishing?

How about not being able to get an interview, because your resume is full of spelling and grammatical errors?

Or that during the interview, you cannot put two complete sentences together so you don't get the job?

Look through the other threads in this forum.  You'll find the community usually embraces helping others.

I would LOVE to focus on the positives.  Unfortunately, those simply don't exist in this thread.  You asked for help.  We pointed you towards the project examples that will put you on a path towards success.  You suggest you have LabVIEW experience, just not RT/FPGA.  I'm concerned you say this and don't see value in those examples.  The code for RT/FPGA isn't vastly different from LabVIEW code.  It should be an easy transition.

People will focus on the negatives when you're given help and reply with something along the lines of "you're not doing my project for me.  You're not doing enough."  If you want people to focus on the positives, show us even a minimal amount of effort.  Come back after you've looked at the data sheets for your sensor.  Come back after you've looked at the data sheet for the myRIO.  Ask a specific question.  As an example, "my sensor only needs a single DIO line and I've wired that into the myRIO's DIO3 port but I'm not seeing a signal on that port.  Here's my code.  Do you have any idea why I'm not seeing an input?"

Don't expect people to do everything for you and then pout when that attitude isn't received well.  No, this forum isn't for punishing the participants.  Guess what else it isn't for.  It's not to seek others to do your senior design project for you.  If you want an engineering degree, it's time you stop acting like you're in middle school.  The myRIO is designed such that high school students can use it.  If they can, why can't you?
