i succesffully resetted the countdown stage 

but everytime my alarm stage is trigged.

it doesnt make any sound

why do i need a stop stage?

i can just stop the whole loop with a stop button?

It is a good practive to have a stop state, this way you can make sure certain actions are performed before the vi stop. Modify the alarm state as in this image to reset the alarm state. Your alarm state is not responsive to the stop button, if the alarm duration is long the vi will not stop until the end of the alarm.
