customise meter indicator

I want to customise the meter indicator to look like the one which I have attached here. How do I do it?

Oh I m sorry! my LV version is 8.6 and i m not able to open the vi.

Aw! that looks great! how did you do that? I know to take a new->custom control-> place a meter -> show parts window -> edit ->save as control . but it ended up really messy. how do I use this as a custom control so that i can just replace all the labview meters in my front panel(about 5 of them) with this vi? also, can I make the needle look a bit more classy instead of that thick one? Thanks!!

Place a meter in Frontpanel and go to properties their you can change the appearence.
