error code 1181 OPC on CRIO

When I run the OPC code on the CRIO i get error code 1181

Error 1181 occurred at DataSocket Open in [RT] Main Advanced Updated.vi

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW: Protocol not recognized by LabVIEW.

What Am I missing?

It runs fine (the same code) on the PC side... just not on the CRIO.

Hi,

Since the code runs on the PC side and not the cRIO, confirm that Datasocket support for LabVIEW Real-Time is installed on the cRIO. I do not think this is installed by default so make sure the Protocols and Buses»DataSocket for LabVIEW Real-Time box is checked on the software installation wizard for the cRIO. Let us know if this helps.

I have the same issue, i have installed the datasocket support on the cRIO but it did not change anything.
