Hello everyone
I get the following error when I try to link the labview to the arduino:
"Error occurred at Property Node (arg 1) in VISA Configure Serial Port (Instr) .vi-> shani.vi"
Can anyone help?

Your timeout value is invalid. Are you wiring a negative timeout?

I sent the code to a classmate, it works on his computer
So I think it might have something to do with the software itself?
Maybe I'm missing something?

Have you previously had any luck with VISA functions (on that computer)? Is it possible that NI-VISA isn't installed? (I'm not sure the functions would show up if they weren't, so I don't have a lot of faith in this question, but I'll go for it anyway).

I believe "Arg1" is your VISA Resource.  When I wired a blank resource to the VISA Configure Serial Port (Instr).vi, it threw the same error.
