excel activeX property invalid in winXP system

a program that is used to manipulate excel with activeX runs well in Win7 operation system PC, but when it is copied to a Winxp operation system PC, it is broken. I found some properties invalid, is it related to operating system? 

The labview platform is the same,  LabVIEW 2011.

The ActiveX property of the excel is also depend on the version of the Excel you are using. Are the two PC running the same version of MS Office?

Win7 using office 2007, while Winxp using office 2003. Maybe you are right. Thank you!
