I am using signal express 3.0 to monitor a bench for a very long amount of time (weeks).
I need to acquire strain gauges, load cell and a displacement sensor.
During the test I need sometimes to collect all the data and then to work on them in excel\matlab. I need also to collect also all the data from the beginning to the end of the test
The question regards how to manage recording data.
I tried under tool-logging to activate the option to automatically save data to txt file when recording, however the software makes separate files for each signal. I would like to have just one big file in which I see different columns representing the data I am collecting.
Is it possible?
I can somehow bypass the issue adding one step "save to ASCII/LVM" but this is not satisfactoried because it saves data continuosly as soon as I run the script creating a huge amount of data which I need to post process later.
Please keep in mind that it is a fatigue test and it lasts weeks at a load rate of around 3-4 cycles for minute.
