fpga compile stuck on "Translating" after 2013 upgrade

Just what it says.  I have some code that compiled in 5-10m with 2012, but when I run it today it basically gets stuck on the "Translating" step and never finished (Well, not after the 3 hours I let it run while we went out this afternoon.

Not that this helps with a solution, but it sounds like it might be the same issue reported here http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/fpga/m-p/2661531#M793139? "The VI was taking 20-30 minutes to compile in LV2011, but has just completed having taken 1 hr 45 minutes. 1hr 30 minutes of this was spent Translating, and the Xilinx log was stuck with the last line Process "Translate" failed."
