fpga unexpected error reported from new vi wizard

Yes this is correct.  Attached is a screen shot of my MAX; maybe there is something else that I am missing that could cause it.

Hi Joe,

I completed building a machine running LV SP1 with FPGA abd RT 11.0.0 but unfortunately was unable to reproduce your problem.

Would it be possible for you to post a System Information? You can get these through MAX by clicking Help>>System Information and then you can copy the contents. This will give me a better idea of the versions you have installed.

Also, when you say in a previous post that you repaired and reinstalled the system, can you describe the process used? In some cases it is possible for installations issues to remain after a reinstall if the problem relates to something in the registry. Did you also reinstall the RIO driver when you reinstalled LV, RT and FPGA and if so did you install it before or after the others?

Best Regards,

Chris

Below are the system information that you asked for.  As far as the uinstall/reinstall order.  I went to Control Panel > Programs and Features > National Instruements and did it that way.  I don't explicitly remember uninstalling/reinstalling RIO at all unless it did it automatically.  I only unstalled/reinstalled LabVIEW and the FPGA module.

Hi Joe,

Based on the fact that I have replicated your system and I am not seeing the same issues I'm thinking that this is likely to be a corrupt installation issue. When you reinstall something through Programs/Features it doesn't actually perfrom a full reinstallation. There are somethings that remain untouched. Often it is necessary to uninstall the software completely and start from scratch.

Before attempting that I would suggest doing a reinstall of RIO as this is currently the only thing you haven't tried reinstalling.

Best Regards,

Chris

Reinstalling RIO did not help.  I am going to uninstall/reinstall everything and hopefully that fixes it.  If using Programs/Features doesn't completely uninstall NI software, then how do you get rid of everything?  Thanks.

I completely uninstalled and reinstalled everything NI-related on my computer and it still crashes.  I'm not sure why it doesn't work.  I got it to work on a lab computer, but this computer is where I am going to be primarily doing developmeny on.  I guess I will have to work with what I can get unless anyone has any other ideas?  Thanks.
