gesture recognition in Labview.which function can i use?

I am doing an project on gesture recognition in LabVIEW.Gestures are captured and transmitted to robot.The robot will mimic the gesture.Which kit can i use and what functions can be used to capture gesture

Well that would depend on how you plan to capture the gesture in the first place?  Exoframe?  Camera? Kinect? Leap Motion Controller?  Other?

 

If you were planning to use a camera then you may want to look at the NI Vision tools.

ya, thanks..im going to capture entire body gestures.. will idea of using a camera work??

Well it's a bit out of my experience so I don't know for sure, but my first thought is that an image from a single camera has limited depth information.  That might limit your ability to recognize different motions.

 

The kinect was designed for full body gesture capture.  It would probably work best.

And if you are looking at the kinect, do a search on these forums, there was a fair amount of discussion about interfacing with them a while ago.
