help with controling an IDS camera with the API

Hi,

I have controlled my IDS camera for a while using the regular .NET VI's supplied by IDS.

recently, I needed access to some internal paramteres that are not incldud in the .NET interface. (mainley adjusting the triggering time)

to do that I used the "import shared library" and included the .dll and the h file provided by IDS( see attached).

I now have a full set of Vi's I can use to control the camera and I am slowly learning the dependancies and sequence of the various dll calls.

while trying to actually view an image, I see I need to give a handle (hWnd) to a BMP image.

I don't have any idea how to do this.  I found a link to a site that calims it has this sort of VI http://www.geocities.ws/gzou999/Guide/UsersGuide.htm but the download links there are broken or with very old versios of LV (5.1).

does anyone have an idea how to do this?

What is wrong with old versions of LV?  If the concept works, just use it.

can't open it with my 2015 version.

well, now I did...

didn't help. it is missing the sub vi i reallu need.
