how do i build a {+1, -1} wavelet?

Solved!

I'm running labview 8.6 and the instruction calls for me to "convolve the data with the following wavelet { +1, -1}. How do I build that wavelet?

Thanks for the help.

What Instructions? Can you post them so we have some context?

Sure, here are my instructions:

1. Read in data from asciii file

2. Calculate and subtract the mean value from the data

3. Lowpass filter the zero mean data at 40 Hz.

4. Convolve the filtered data with the following wavelet: {+1, -1}

5. Downsample result by factor of 2

I dont know how to approach Step 4 or 5.

Thank you for the help.

That looks very good, Thanks for the assistance.

But there is something incomplete about the convolution. I'm not sure exactly what, but something about the nature of the wavelet. Any additional help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

What do you find is incomplete about the convolution?
