You have to create a project. At the bottom of the project is "Build Specifications". Right Click and choose "New" > "Application (EXE). In LV2009 you can once again create a exe outside of the project.

hi,

I am getting a small problem as I have successfully made exe file of my particular vi. But as my vi is containing the write to spreadsheet.vi as to store data.

So when I run my vi(exe) in standalone computer. It shows error that cant able to locate write to spreadsheet.vi. so what I have to do exactly ....I have to make exe file of  write to spreadsheet.vi ? or something else

Any help is appreciated.

If it's not a sub-vi you need to add it manually to your project to make sure it makes it to the .exe
