Hi I have seen this tutorial:
http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/12493
is there anyway you can do this with a NI8451 and 9172?if yes how?
Thanks in advance.

Merd,
This is Kyle M from NI, and I think I actually talked to you on the phone today regarding this issue. Synchronizing an I2C Bus with a DAQ device would be a pretty complex task, with really complex triggering. A far easier route would be to take an analog gyro and read it in with the rest of your signals on a C-DAQ Chassis, as we discussed. That would allow you much tighter timing synchronization, as well as a far simpler and more robust setup.

Kyle,
Yes we did talk together, thank you very much for your help.

Kyle,
How could this be accomplished? I have a need for this because I require data from a digital accelerometer and analog strain gages at the same time. The digital accel is connected to the 8451 SPI interface and the analog strain gages are connected to the 9172. I do not have the option of using analog accelerometers due to size constraints. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
