Hi,
I am going to interface 16 strain gauges with labview. Signal conditioning is done before interfacing with labview. I just want to know that which Daq card will be suitable for this application i have searched a lot and i am a little bit confused about the chocie of Daq card. What about this Daq card https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/usb-6341.html?
Waiting for positive reply.
Thanks

It depends on the Type of strain gaiuge you are going use, Number of channels and cost. The one you have given has 16 channels but if you configure it for differential signaling you only have 8 channels then you may have to hookup 2 cards. So come up with the signal level, sampling rate and cost.

You need to know exactly what kind of signal is being transmitted from your signal conditioner. You also need to have some expectations of sample rate and accuracy.
If you describe the application details a bit more you will probably get more useful replies..

What signal conditioner are you using?

Hi tiqi75210,
like everyone told you it depends on the measurement.
There are cards, where you can connect the strain gage directly.
If you have build your own signal conditioning you only need a device for acquiring the voltage.
This depends on your platform(PCI/USB/...) and your further requirements(sample rate, count of channels, accuracy, ...).
The easiest way would be attaching a drawing of your measurements with more details about these points.

If budget allows you can use a CDAQ chassi and 2 https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/ni-9236.html which has excitation and good settings already, but a general card like you linked should work but requires more settings on your behalf.

My resistance range will be 350ohm. I am using AD8221 for signal conditioning.
