how to write a large amount of measured results with "write to spreadsheet " function in an Excel file?!

My solution may not be the best. Lots of good advice here to go in another direction. Report generator is an additional cost and DIAdem is very expensive and I would understand if you did not want to use it. If you must use Excel I would not use the Write to Spreadsheet.vi. I would save the data with TDMS and use the TDM Excel Add-in available here.
