Hi all,
I am trying to develop make a vi to acquire images (and also view live) from my Logitech webcam. However, in LabVIEW 2010 I can't seem to find the Imaqdx VI's. I think I have installed all the necessary components for Imaqdx. The Vision Assistant shows my webcam but does not allow me to to program it either. It mentions there's an with specifying it (see pic please). Can someone please help why the VI's for Imaqdx do not appear (or even better, if you have any VI that can get images from a Logitech webcam in LabVIEW 2010)? You can look at the pic and see what I mean. Thanks.

... by the way, I forgot to mention, I can access the webcam and can change the settings as well as view images from the Logitech in MAX. I am not sure how to program in the LV2010. Thanks

If you installed LV2010 after you installed IMAQdx, you'll have to ReInstall/Repair your installation of IMAQdx to get access to IMAQ functions in LV2010.
LV does not automatically update toolkits and drivers when upgrading from previous versions.

Thanks for the answer. Do you know what CD/package IMAQdx is included. Because I did reinstall LabVIEW core and device driver CDs over and over again. It still doesn't show it.

You'll need the Vision Acquisition System to use the IMAQdx stuff. (No additional license required, downloadable from NI website)
If you're doing image manipulation, you'll need the Vision Development Module. (Additional license required if you don't already have it.)
