actually you just found a Known bug in LabVIEW

Branching wires to for loop inputs confusesses the compiler.  Use  an Always Copy 

Search the forums or goto my profile page and look at the TAG "DidHeWriteTheCompiler"  Dr K. explains it in more detail than I can remeber offhand

 My compiler give me just what i wanted in the output (an array of all the  number of successive elements less than 1 mm) of each thin patch. thats what i think i got ofcaurs i might be very wrong!!!!!
