mapping photodetector values with X-Y coordinates from 2D PSD

Hi so I have used a 2D position sensitive photodetector to map the scanning pattern of a light source so i have an array of X and Y values vs time after the scanner is turned on. 

I now want to use this to map the photodetector measurements when the light source is used on a sample how do I do this?

That's pretty vague.  Do you have some colleagues with some knowledge of LabVIEW, or some experience with what you are trying to do and the nature of the instruments (like the 2D position sensitive photodetector, the light source, etc.) and will understand the jargon in your post?
