Hi,
Are you saying that you are getting the same -1073807343 error? If so, then it is most likely due to a communication problem. First, make sure your computer and your device are on the same subnet, as explained in the previous posts. In the ms2036a user manual on page 300 you can see you can use DHCP so that a server automatically assigns your instrument an IP address, or you could statically assign it. Once that is done, try to ping the device, like explained on the user manual above. When you are able to get a response from the device, you should be able to communicate with no problem.
