Hello,
I am trying to recreate a development environment for an old project using a PCI-7831R RIO card. I remember using LabView 2016 for the development. I also installed the 2016 FPGA development application. The PCI-7831R RIO card has the correct runtime files since the application is working. When I open the LabView project, I'm missing some files which I believe are from NI. The dialog box says Loading: <vilib>:\userdefined\High Color\nirio_resource_hc.ctl.
Any idea what I should install or try?
I'm trying to be very careful to not disturb the existing working application.
I have searched the entire hard drive and nirio_resource_hc.ctl is not found.
Thank you in advance.

Important note: there are old hardwares that are incompatible with the most recent software/driver versions, so be careful not to install/update to a too recent version, otherwise you will have to uninstall everything (no downgrade possible), which is a major hassle with NI softwares in general.
Check what software/driver you need to install and in which version depending on your hardware (select it from the drop-down menu):
From the name of the missing control, I would say you are missing the NI-RIO driver.

Raphaël.
