read data from .wav file

Hello,

I am new to labview. I have acquired data from a sound file represented it graphically and at the output of read sound VI I have placed indicator which is indicating it to be an array. since the size of array that is shown to me is 1. I have checked on matlab the sound file is of 44556x1 length. Now further I want to extract few elemnts of array when I have placed array subset VI it does not take the output of Read sound VI as its input.Why this is so?when the read sound VI indicator is array.

Which version of LV are you using, because inn LV 8.5 the output is a waveform array and it perfectly connects to a graph indicator and array subset.

Which sound file format do you use? Could you post the sound file or a sample in the same format giving just noise?
