remote front panel cannot load in browser but works from labview

Can you recheck whether Run Time Engine plug in is installed for IE8 or try it on  any other browser..Also disable if any antivirus runs in that machine.

hi everybody,

i am using labview 2010. i have the same error that occured in this post. i checked eveything following the post. i think i am doing everything right but there is a problem somewhere. i have the same version of labview runtime engine installed in the client computer. i can access the remote panel from the browser if the client computer is on the same subnet. but i cannot do the same thing when the host computer has a static ip address which makes the VI accessible through the internet. the fatal error message is being displayed on the web browser every time i try to access it. the root directory setting is the www folder and i have a * in the visible VI field. i cannot possibly begin to understand  what the problem is. i would be very grateful if any body helps.
