Hello,

Really need your help, i have SMC-basic controller that is connected on my RS-232 port.2 step motors with fine step like 10 um step are connected on

this controler.The motor model is VEXTA D4CL-5.0.I wanna use this motors for X and Y movement with small steps like 20 um.So i wanna aske you to link

me some examples for this kind of work that i wanna use my motors for.I buy one more peace of equipment its NI controler that i will connect on my

USB and on this controler will be connected photo diode, she will detect light.This diode will be attached on one motor and that motor is attached on second

motor, and motors will move around in XY plane.So my big problem is that i need some labview examples for this small procjet i wanna make. 

P.S I use labview 7.1 and 8.5

Hello Leon,

Which NI controller are you going to get? Is both controllers- the NI controller and the SMC-basic controller- are going to control the same motors! It's a little confusing in your description.  Your might want  to look for examples in the example finder to get you started with the basic concept. You can find those examples If you navigate to Help >> Example Finder.

Sorry for late replay.NI controller is attached to photo diode and he only controls  photo diode.NI controller is USB-6059.SMC basic only contolrs motors.I only need some examples to contol motors because controling language for SMC basic is venus1 and.Thx for replay i will tryfind some examples.

Hi mates, sorry for long time no answer, i have some problems with my net.

My mistake its USB-6259.This device its not problem any more, i made some modifications and now work just fine.

Big problem is SMC-basic contoller, like i said i have two motors conneted on that controller.Language for manipulating with this controller is VENUS 1.

I need some examples for workng with this contoller.
