Hello,
does anybody now a smith chart example with full standard labeling
(see: http://www.eecircle.com/applets/006/smithchart.pdf)
and a possibility to save smith chart plot with included data points in a vector graphics format,
so it can be plot in different sizes without loosing quality?
Thanks and best regards
Roland

Thanks for the hint,
did a (i hope) complete search in the forum.
Still searching for a vi, wich can plot a smith chart including the "standard" labels.
Which means, that in the plot plane there are the labelsfor the complex axis are include. In adition circular labels for
exaple or the "angle of transmission" and so on, should be around the plot plane.
The only i´ve found is the inlcuded vi,
which can plot some labels in the four corners of a plot, not inside nor the circular labeling.
Thanks for your effort

Hi Roland,
once a collegue of mine also asked for that feature.
My solution was to put a picture of a smith chart in the background of an XY-graph (this option is available as property node since LV8.0). Now you only have to apply a proper scaling to your data to simulate a correct smith chart...
This way you can easily change the smith plot appearance by simply choosing a different picture
