sync between continuous sine wave in tx and rx

hello. I want to synchronize the transmitter and receiver that use continuous sine signal. I can not find the steps to check does the receiver got the real-time signal or got some delay. I will be glad if you can give me some help. thank you

what tx and rx? you're not providing enough info on what you're trying to achieve.

I differ the channel gain of channel 0 and channel 1 at the transmitter and change them every 2 seconds (duration can be changed) and I want the receiver to check whether is it channel 0 or channel 1 based on the received power. but I have to synchronize the time between them to make an accurate estimation. here is the picture of Tx and Rx scheme

From the image, you use USRP and hence it is best to move your post to https://forums.ni.com/t5/USRP-Software-Radio/bd-p/500
