Gerd,
I know this is an old post, but how did you get the timestamp in that cluster format?

Look in the timing palette. You will find a Rec Time to Timestamp and visa versa. I don't have LabVIEW with me, so I'm a little shakey on the exact wording of the funtion. Anyways, those functions will convert a huge cluster with month, day, year, DST?, seconds, fractional sections, etc. into a timestamp and back again. You can right click on one of those inputs/outputs and create a constant.

Maybe my pallettes are messed up. I have a number to timestamp and date/time to string, but I can't find anything that uses that cluster.

use the quickdrop and search for "Date/Time To Seconds"
