touch panel brightness setting

I'm using the TPC-2212 touch panel and would like to adjust the brightness and/or contrast, but I cannot find a utility on the touch panel to do this with.  This touch panel is used on a product outside and is almost impossible to read in daylight.  Does anyone know if there are any display settings available on this product?

i have never heard that a touch screen has any brightness control? it is a clear and sometimes filtered lens for outside readable with touch sensitive transistors that goes over the display, think of it like a mouse pad....and what does this have to do with LV
