If I buy a new compact flash from NI for our touch panel, does it come with the OS installed or is it completely blank?

Are you purchasing this product through ni.com? If so, can you provide us with a link to the product page, or a product number? Since CompactFlash cards are used in several of our products, such as Compact FieldPoint controllers, the cards may not come with an operating system loaded onto it. Yes, I was asking about the one offered on NI.com for the TPC-2206 with part number 782577-01.

Hi OpTech,

The CompactFlash card does not come with an OS when purchases separately from an NI touchpanel. So if you purchase part numbers such as 782577-01 or 782786-01, you should not expect an operating system. We sell these separately so that a touchpanel can be imaged and restored at a later date to a new/different CompactFlash card.
