use Thorlab camera to recording video by Labview

I am trying to use the camera from Thorlab to record a video. From some recent VI, I can receive the live image, but how to record it into a .avi or .mov format.

I guess you are using the NI-IMAQdx driver from Vision Acquisition Software (VAS). See Save Images and Video in LabVIEW Using NI-IMAQ Functions.

Thorlabs cameras use their own "ThorCam" driver. The display goes to a "Picture Box".

Do you have access to the Vision Acquisition Software VIs? If so, I found a youtube video which shows you how to convert the ThorCam image to an IMAQ image. (Around the 6:30 mark).

No, I can't find these VIs. Maybe need to download NI-IMAQ?

You can get a free trial for 7 or 45 days I believe. But the license for them (called Vision Acquisition Software) is over $500.
