web service wsdl name format

Hello Everyone,

I have a WSDL link with me but I could not import it in LabVIEW. Is there a format in which the name of the WSDL file should be specified in LabVIEW Import? Please clarify. My WSDL file ends with the string '?readform'. I could open and see the WSDL file.

Thanks,
Vasanth.

Hello Ya Ya,

In order to import a Web Service into LabVIEW 8.20, you must specify the WSDL address. You mentioned that you have a WSDL file? This specification should be XML text that is published on the web. The text should be of the appropriate format as specified by the WSDL standards set forth by Microsoft and IBM. For more information about using Web Services in LabVIEW, please take a look at the Using Web Services in LabVIEW application note.

Would it be at all possible to post a link to this WSDL? We will most likely not be able to check the format for you, but we can at least attempt to import this Web Service into LabVIEW. Thanks,

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your suggestion and the link. I checked the WSDL file and found that the bug was with itself.  Now, I have corrected it and have used it to import and use the web service. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks,

Vasanth.
