There is option in "VI properties->windoe apperarence->customise->WIndow has titlebar" to hide/show the title bar(same thing applies to menu bar also).

Since you have hidden the title bar now you can make on e(on the FP itself with a close and minimize button) to have the look and feel of norton or any other application.

Look in to customize control (search LabVIEW help) on how to customize a control.

But at the end of day does it worth the effort spent on customizing something rather giving a better solution

Hi Balaji,

- you can customize any control by selecting the control and choose the item "Customize..." in the edit menu!

- you can put a picture in the frontpanel background

- you can switch on/off window border, menus, etc...

- there's a user group talking about "nice" controls, look there for interesting things!

You can do all that you want, just pick a paint program of your choice Smiley Wink

Drag a jpg picture in your Labview Front Panel

Put Controls and Indicators over it.

Modify these to "Transparant"   (View -> Tools Palette -> Click on the colors (Bottom-left) -> T (Up-right))

Give all backgrounds the transpartent color, on the older indicators (Not express or modern, but Classic)

this works better for text indicators

Even Graphs can be modified, so that only the graph line is visible, no borders etc, just a line.

Now you have the interface you want.

See attachment

.
