xilinx 12.4

Hi. I'm using the Labview 2011, I've installed the FPGA Module and the NI RIO but when I tried to compile my VI, it appears a message that says that the compilation tool are not installed, so I search on the web, I found that the one I need is the Xilinx 12.4, but when enter the web page,  they ask me for a serial number http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2592/lang/en , what could i do if i dont have the serial number? Is there another way to download xilinx?

You should have a serial number to install and activate LabVIEW.  That is what it is asking for.  Do you have a license to use LabVIEW FPGA?

Hey there;

Please don't duplicate posts.... I belive you posted the same question here...

If you are evaluating, I would recommend to try out the new versions (where all drivers can be downloaded from ni.com)

There is a KB; Wich Xilinx Compile Tools do I need to copile My FPGA Code? that includes the different links to the copile tools needed for every version of LabVIEW; the old driver and sofware versions can only be downloaded if you have SSP active.

You can activate SSP (which includes phone support and driver access) by updating your software or as an aditional product fromo your NI representative.

I found another link where you can get the tools directly fromo Xinix; however it will download all of Xininx's tools, later on the installer will allow you to chose which ones you want to install.

Hope this info helps

Greetings and good luck
