I have a strange problem with LV2009. I put an XY Graph on my front panel. The legend looks like the attached pic. I can't figure out how to make the gray button backgrounds go away. I want to make them transparent.

I customized the XY Graph and saved it as a new control in my user.lib folder. I was able to edit the transparency in the control editor in "customize mode" (the mode with the tweezers icon, not the wrench icon), but not from the development environment nor from the edit mode of the control editor. When I put a new XY Graph on the panel, I can't make the "curve indicator/control field" have a transparent background. I have to use this new customized version that I just created. Does anybody know why that may be?

Hi jc,
I'd like to experiment to remove the gray button background and get back to you. You're using LV2009 with Mac, correct?

Hi jc,
I'm running into the same situation that you're seeing. It seems that when we try to modify the gray button, it modifies the color of the legend for that plot instead of the gray button. Attached are some examples of what I mean. However, with that being said, it may not be possible to modify that portion of the control. I'll do more investigation but I wanted to give you a heads up on my progress.
Regards
