Integrate open62541 library for OPC UA

OPC UA has become much more popular in the last few years.

I did some tests trying to integrate open62541 library in CVI 2015 and 2017.

 

I think that CVI should provide this library as an add-on.

Moreover NI engineers can put their effort tryingo to develop the library itself (rather than rewriting a library from scratch).

I confirm that integration of OPC UA in CVI would be great, as it was possible for OPC DA and now applications have to migrate.

Is solution use of open62541 or development from scratch or reuse of existing fonctions from LabView, I can't say.

It is possible to create a .dll with the source of projet open62541 (branch 0.3) and then use it from CVI.

Hi, someone tried to compile (exe or dll) open62541?

I tried but I have a lot of error (types, missing files etc.).

Someone can help me?
