Book on C

Hello all.  I am just starting to lean LabWindows/CVI and it has been several years since I have used C and have forgotten most of it.  Can anyone recomend a good book on C that would fit in well with CVI that I would be able to pick up at the bookstore?

a bit outdated (C underwent 2 revisions since it was published), but still the best introduction you can find:

Though it won't substitute for catching up on C programming entirely, I recommend you look into taking one of our CustEd courses on CVI.  In a week, you can get up and running with much of the basic functionality of the software and it will compliment your learning nicely.

We actually teach those here at Bloomy, although we do not have a CVI class coming up for a while though.  So I am more or less working through it on my own.

Back in the days when NI used to supply real documentation with CVI, they included a copy of Harbison & Steele as part of the package. I have my copy on the bookshelf here, right next to my Fortran IV primer . Recommended.
